Joe Johnston has been a professional photojournalist since 1998 covering news, sports, travel, features, politics, lifestyle and pretty much anything you can shake a stick or point a camera at. He loves surfing, the outdoors, and travel. His job as a senior photographer at The San Luis Obispo County Tribune has taught him how to shoot a variety of subjects from the intimate to the intense, in every condition from a serene day at the beach to the pelting rain of a raging storm.
